What are the benefits of registering online?

Often, you will receive a discount for Jumpstart’s exclusive classes and birthday parties for online registrations. Online registrations allow us to streamline our operations, and make better use of technology, making our jobs easier. For this, you are rewarded with special discounts.

I am being charged a membership fee but, I am already a member, what should I do?

If you are already a member and are being charged a membership, for some reason you aren’t being found in our online email list. Please send us an email message and we will check our membership database. We can remove the membership line item from your order, and since your card is not charged (we only hold it to reserve your spot), this can be easily worked out later.

Why am I being asked for a few time choices for the Mommy and Me classes instead of just one?

Our goal is to make sure that the children are grouped appropriately according to age. In addition, we want to make sure that the classes have an appropriate number of children in them. By making a few choices, we will be able to group children appropriately. If you have a strong preference of time, please use the comments box to include your preference. If you are not happy with the time we select for you, you do have the option of canceling your order for a full refund.

We do! There are often varied age classes on the schedule. Please check it out!

DIY Parties/Private Open Play

What is the purpose of the cleaning deposit?

We will be happy to clean up after your private open play or DIY party; however, you will need to forgo your cleaning deposit. Should you choose to clean yourselves, you will be given a checklist by a Jumpstart staff member. Once you have completed cleaning, a member of Jumpstart will walk through the facility with you and review the checklist.

If I reserve Jumpstart for a 2 hour party, what time can I arrive and what time do I need to leave?

You will have access to the facility no more than 15 minutes prior to the reserved start time. Should you decide to clean yourselves, we recommend the party last 90 – 105 minutes to enable you to clean the facility in a timely fashion. Should you forgo your cleaning deposit – we ask that you vacate the party room a minimum of 15 minutes early to allow our assistant enough time to clean the facility before the next party begins. You will need to be out of the reception area 15 minutes following your reserved party time.

What exactly will I need to clean?

You will be given a checklist prior to your DIY party. We will have the cleaning supplies.

Can I bring outside food into Jumpstart?

Food and drink are only allowed in the party room. You may bring pizza, cake, cupcakes, chips and drinks. There will often be cookies and drinks on hand at Jumpstart, however these are NOT for DIY party/private play consumption: these items are used for other Jumpstart functions.
